In most cases, a properly installed vapor barrier and proper ventilation is sufficient to keep your crawl space dry, but sometimes this just does not do the job.

De-humidifier installation employs the opposite techniques of ventilation. We actually close off your crawl space by covering your crawl space vents with a foam insulation, caulk around crawl space doors... we seal off the area completely. A plastic vapor barrier is installed and the de-humidifier is put into place, complete with a drain line leading to the outside.
