The picture to the left shows a rare
sight... a white Smokey Brown cockroach. Although you may not ever see
one, all cockroaches go through this stage where they molt and the
fresh new exoskeleton is actually free of any pigmentation for just a
short time. You are more likely to notice one in a heavily (roach)
populated area. Note near the top of the picture another one who is
gradually gaining its color. |
